If you are looking for sushi in Sunny Isles Beach but half of your party wants Greek food, you do not need two restaurants. At Mykonos Kitchen & Bar, a dedicated sushi and raw bar menu is served right next to the Greek kitchen: rolls, nigiri, sashimi and tartars share the table with mezes and grilled dishes, on a waterfront terrace at 400 Sunny Isles Blvd. One group, one table, two cuisines, no compromise.
Mykonos Kitchen & Bar is a waterfront Greek and Mediterranean restaurant in Sunny Isles Beach with a full sushi and raw bar menu of its own. Alongside familiar rolls you will find Greek-Japanese fusion plates, like tartars served over phyllo with fried pita on the side. The current menu with prices is always on our menu page, and reservations are taken by phone at (305) 497-9775 or through our contact page.
The sushi menu is not a side experiment at Mykonos Kitchen & Bar. The restaurant runs two kitchens with the same idea behind them: fresh fish, simple seasoning and respect for the ingredient. One side of that idea is Greek and Mediterranean, with olive oil, lemon and fire. The other side is Japanese, with seasoned rice, clean knife work and a raw bar. Where the two meet, you get plates that belong to both worlds, like a salmon tartar resting on phyllo with fried pita on the side.
The result is a restaurant where two very different cravings can be satisfied at once. If you want a closer look at how the sushi side of the menu is built, we covered the craft in The Art of Sushi at Mykonos Kitchen & Bar, and if mezes are your starting point, The Art of Greek Mezes walks through the appetizer tradition.
The practical question for most groups is not what to order, but how to order so that everyone eats well. The plan below works for tables where some guests want sushi and others came for Greek food. Start with shared plates from both menus, then let each guest pick their own main.
Start with (to share)
| Who is at the table | Then order | |
|---|---|---|
| The sushi purist | Seaweed Salad ($15), Miso Soup ($12) | Sashimi ($46) or Nigiri Trio ($42) |
| The Greek-food lover | Dips and warm mezes from the Greek menu | Grilled mains from the land and sea sections |
| The undecided | Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice ($32) | Mykonos Roll ($27) or Titanic Roll ($31) |
Menu items and prices may be subject to change, so check our current menu before you order. A good rule for a group of four: two mezes to share, two or three rolls, one raw bar plate and one grilled main. It sounds like a lot, but this is the style of eating both cuisines are built for, plates in the middle, everyone reaching across.
If you want to taste where Greece and Japan actually meet, order the tartars. The Salmon Tartar ($25) and Tuna Tartar ($29) are diced fish served over phyllo and avocado with lime and onion, with fried pita on the side, a Greek answer to the raw bar. The Octopus Carpaccio ($25) brings a Mediterranean favorite into thin raw-bar slices, and the Tiraditos ($38) plate salmon, tuna or hamachi with avocado, red onion and jalapeño. For something warm, the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice ($32) is the dish that disappears first at most tables.

These plates are also the safest order when nobody can agree. They are technically sushi, but they taste like the Mediterranean kitchen the restaurant is known for. To drink, the pairing logic is the same as for mezes: crisp whites and light cocktails hold up to both menus, and we wrote a separate guide on pairing Greek food with waterfront cocktails.
The sushi menu is served in the same room as everything else: a waterfront terrace looking out over the water, with sunset dinners that make the raw bar plates look exactly as good as they taste. On select evenings there is live music; check our schedule or Instagram before you come if the evening vibe matters to your plans.
If you are arriving by boat, the restaurant keeps a private dock for guests, with the idea summed up as: skip the valet, arrive by sea. You can read more about docking for dinner in Arrive by Boat, Stay for the Flavor and on our Dock & Dine page.
Reserve your table by phone at (305) 497-9775 or through our contact page. We are open Tuesday through Sunday and closed on Mondays, and weekend tables go fast, so reservations are recommended. If your crew arrives by boat, mention the dock when you book so the team can be ready for you.
